Upward Scholars supports current adult school students from Jefferson Adult School and South San Francisco Adult School who will be enrolling part-time at Skyline College, are California College Promise Grant eligible, and need help paying for textbooks and/or transportation.

The scholarship will cover Skyline College bookstore textbooks and a bus pass or student parking pass. 

Please check back in November for orientation dates and more information about Upward Scholars scholarships for the spring 2019 semester.

Adult school students that are interested in Skyline College but don’t qualify for the SASS scholarship can also get more information about paying for college:

High School Equivalency (including GED/Hi-SET) students can contact your adult school transition navigator, Lani Xiao at Jefferson Adult School, Nereida Angulo at South San Francisco Adult School, or transition coordinator Stacy Nojima at Skyline College.
