Classified Council: What is it?

The Classified Council represents the needs, concerns and viewpoints of the classified staff with respect to the District Shared Governance Agreement, excluding all matters related to collective bargaining.  It is one of the constituent groups of Skyline College's shared governance organizational structure.  We are an elected council.   

Who are the members of the Classified Council?

The Classified Council represents all classified employees at Skyline College, CSEA, AFSCME, and non-represented classified employees; which includes classified supervisors and management. 

Classified Council Meetings

Meetings are open to all classified employees of Skyline College.

Notices will be emailed to all members before each meeting and minutes are sent after each meeting.

Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month, 2:00 pm in room 6203.

Shared Governance

Governance is defined as those institutional structures and processes for decision-making and communications that engage students, staff, faculty, and administrators relative to the mission and values of the district.
