William Nack

William Nack is the Business Manager/Executive Officer of the Building and Construction Trades Council of San Mateo County, AFL-CIO. He has served in this capacity since March 1, 1999, and has primary responsibility for implementation of all actions and positions taken by the Council. The Building Trades Council comprises of 24 local construction unions with a total membership of 16,000 union construction crafts men and women. The Building Trades Council's primary mission is to monitor and advocate for environmentally and socially responsible projects using the highest quality materials and construction methods.

William currently participates as a member on the following boards and commissions: San Mateo County Housing Endowment and Regional Trust Board of Directors, San Mateo County Housing Leadership Council Board of Directors, serves as the Vice-President of the San Mateo County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, and is a member of the of the Peninsula Coalition Board of Directors.

William is a 45-year resident of San Mateo County.
