All you need is your student ID number (G00#) and a current application on file in Admissions & Records prior to taking any placement test.

How to Make An Appointment?

  2. Click on Schedule Appointments under Student Services
  3. Click Placement Test Appointment under Skyline College Services
  4. Click Make Appointment
  5. Choose desired Test (only one test can be chosen), and Click Continue
  6. Select the Day and Time that fits you schedule and click Find Appointment
  7. Put in your information and click Continue
  8. Logout to Exit Webpage

What to Bring:

  1. Photo Identification
  2. Your Student Identification (G Number)
  3. Enrollment Ticket – For New Students Only (Issued By Admissions & Records Office)
Note: Appointments are canceled if you do not arrive within TEN minutes of the scheduled time.

Computerized Testing is available for:

Math,
English,
ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages),
ABT (Ability to Benefit)
Spanish (For Spanish Classes Only)

Test Duration Guide

Math Test: allow 1.5 hours
English or ESOL test: allow 2.0 hours
English & Math tests: allow 2.5 hours
ESOL & Math tests: allow 2.5 hours
ATB/Financial Aid test: allow 2.5 hours

Saturday Testing

The Placement Center is also open on the following Saturdays from 9 am - 3pm. Testing is by appointment only.

**Please arrive 2.5 hours before the Placement Center closing time to complete both English/ESOL and math tests.
