Retail, Hospitality and Tourism “Learn and Earn” Grant

Skyline College was recently awarded the Retail, Hospitality and Tourism “Learn and Earn” Grant through the State’s Chancellors Office "Doing What Matters for Jobs and the Economy” Initiative. The main objective of the grant is to build on and develop innovative and high quality Retail, Hospitality and Tourism Programs in Bay Region Community Colleges. This grant has made possible Skyline College’s Hospitality & Tourism Management Program.

The Retail, Hospitality and Tourism sector is responsible for providing everything there is to offer in lodging, meetings and conventions, restaurants, shopping, travel and recreational activities. As such, it is a rapidly growing field with many opportunities for workforce entry and viable and exciting careers. With differing levels of education and a strong desire to give exemplary customer service, individuals can find rewarding and evolving careers in this exciting industry.
