PLS Online Catalog: To search for books in all libraries in the PLS system: ·
Type search words (keep your search words broad) in the first search
box & click Submit. ·
The search results will show books and other materials in all
libraries in the PLS system. ·
To Limit your search results to materials
at Skyline College Library: ·
Click on Modify Search near the top of the screen. ·
You will be brought back to the search screen and your search term(s)
will reappear. ·
Scroll down to the Location selection box (2nd box
under Limit to: below the search boxes), ·
select Skyline College in
the Location box, ·
then click the Submit button. Click

“Reserves”:
shelved at the front desk ·
“Reference”:
shelved in lower shelves behind the Reference desk ·
“Oversize”:
shelved at the right end of the Reference shelves ·
“New Fiction”:
shelved in a small book case directly in front of the library entrance
Books from other
libraries may be ordered to be sent to Skyline (or any other library) by
clicking on the yellow Request
button on the top of the “full record” page for any book. (A
library card is required to make the request and $.75 is charged when picking
