Tutor Training (LSKL 110)
The Fall 2019 LSKL 110 Tutor Training course is the recommended preparation for becoming a Peer Tutor with the Learning Center.
Tutors completing LSKL 110 will receive CSU transferable course credit and a Level I CRLA Certification.
Structure of the Course
- 4-week Lecture portion: Meets four Tuesdays (9/3, 9/17, 10/1, 10/15) Fall 2019, 1:10 - 3:10p.m.

- Note: Practicum (observed tutoring) portion consists of approx. 10 total hours
- Note: This hybrid (in-person meetings and online portion) course requires approx. 2 hours of additional time outside of class per week

The Skyline College Peer Tutor training program is aligned with and certified under the International Tutor Training Certification program of the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).
