The Skyline College Concert Choir draws its members from matriculating students at the college, members of the surrounding communities, and College staff, faculty, and administration. It has performed programs showcasing the art of a cappella singing as well as programs featuring major works for choir and orchestra.
In addition to performing at Skyline College, the choir regularly performs at the Mildred Owen Concert Hall in Pacifica, CA under the auspices of Pacifica Performances and at Broadmoor Presbyterian Church in Daly City, CA.
We strive to provide a fun and welcoming environment for both advanced and beginning choristers to explore quality choral literature while pursuing musical excellence.

Prepare and perform Double Trouble, a concert set featuring choral music of magic, fantasy and enchantment. Selections include music by the great English Baroque composer Henry Purcell - fairy choruses from The Fairy Queen and witch choruses from Dido and Aeneas. Ghostly music by Brahms and Berlioz will haunt and spook, while selections by Ravel and Vaughan-Williams will conjure up hobgoblins and sprites. Irving Fine’s beloved choruses from Alice in Wonderland will provide fantasy and humor. We will also sing a selection of magical music from Broadway musicals (such as “Defying Gravity” from Wicked and “Magic to Do” from Pippin) AND magical movies (such as “Over The Rainbow” from Wizard of Oz and “Double Trouble” from the Harry Potter films).
