Recruit at the Career Fair - November 4, 2025

We host a campus-wide career fair each semester, attracting hundreds of students from various programs at Skyline College. Fill out the Career Fair Interest Form to secure your spot for the Fall 2025 Career Fair happening November 4, 2025 at Skyline College.  Due to high demand, completing the interest form does not guarantee a spot at the Career Fair.  To ensure that we have a wide variety of careers and industries represented, the Career Services Team will be reviewing Interest Form submissions regularly to confirm participation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with top talent and showcase your career opportunities. Join us at Skyline College to network with potential candidates. Space is limited, so act fast and complete the Career Fair Interest Form by 5:00 PM on October 30, 2025 to secure your table at this must-attend event.

Career Fair Insights for Employers

Once approved, Employers will be invited to officially register for the Career Fair.

  • Registration Fee: $55 per organization
  • Registration includes one (1), 6ft table and two chairs
  • Lunch is provided for two (2) representatives per organization
  • Job Postings on the Skyline College Job Board are recommended to highlight the positions you're actively recruiting 

Career Café - Weekly Employer Tabling

If your organization is looking to hire students for positions NOW, we invite you to sign up for our weekly tabling during Career Café!  Weekly employer tabling is an on-campus event where companies set up a table to promote job and internship opportunities, meet potential candidates, and network with students on a regular basis. This provides students with a direct, in-person way to connect with employers, learn about their culture, and get information about open positions

Career Café Expectations

  • Career Café takes place every Thursday (some dates excluded due to existing events)
  • Employers will be provided with a 6ft table and two chairs in the main corridor of the Building 6, Fireside Dining Room
  • Tabling begins at 11:00am and ends promptly at 2:00pm
  • Minimal supervision is provided by Career Services team during employer tabling
  • On average, employers should anticipate engaging with 15-25 students

We offer four levels of employer engagement, each level building on the last. From basic job postings to strategic hiring partnerships, we offer support that fits your needs. Contact us to learn more!

Tier 1: Standard Engagement

  • Services:
    • Job Posting: Employers can post job openings on the college's job board.
    • Job Posting and Promotion: In addition to job board posting, jobs are promoted through college newsletters and social media.
    • General student engagement: The career center provides tabling opportunities to engage with students in high traffic areas
  • Support:
    • Guidance on Job Posting: Assistance with crafting effective job descriptions.
    • Assistance with Tabling: Logistics for tabling opportunities to engage with the general student population.
    • Initial Contact: Introduction to the career center's services and resources.

Tier 2: Premium Engagement

  • Services:
    • Focused promotion: Jobs are promoted and shared with Career Coordinators and related faculty and student organizations to support more focused outreach
    • Focused Campus Recruitment: Information sessions are scheduled to share details regarding the opportunity and provides a chance for students to have early engagement with the employer
  • Support:
    • Targeted Outreach: Identifying and reaching out to students who fit the job profile.
    • Establishing rapport: Provide direct engagement with interested students to learn about requirements and expectations of the role.

Tier 3: Comprehensive Engagement

  • Services:
    • On-Campus Interviews: Coordination of on-campus interview schedules and logistics.
    • Pre-Screening Applicants: Conducting initial interviews or assessments to shortlist candidates.
  • Support:
    • Interview Preparation: Assisting employers with interview setup and providing tips for engaging with students.
    • Follow-Up: Ensuring timely communication and follow-up with candidates.

Tier 4: Strategic Partnership

  • Services:
    • Customized Recruitment Events: Organizing tailored recruitment events such as career fairs and role/organization specific workshops led by Skyline Career Services.
    • Internship, Apprenticeship, and Work-Based Learning Programs: Facilitating the creation and management of internship, apprenticeship, and Work-Based learning opportunities.
  • Support:
    • Dedicated Account Manager: Assigning a career center staff member as a point of contact for ongoing support.
    • Strategic Planning: Collaborating on long-term recruitment strategies and talent pipeline development.

Join the Industry Leadership Council (ILC)

The ILC brings together industry professionals and Skyline College faculty/staff to shape workforce programs and address local employment needs. Members help guide campus initiatives and support community members in finding quality jobs or transitioning careers.

What’s Involved:

  • Attend one meeting per semester
  • Collaborate with local peers and educators
  • Help develop actionable plans to tackle workforce challenges in our area
  • Your insights help shape the future of education and employment in the Bay Area.
