EOPS students have the potential to succeed in college but have not been able to realize their potential because of economic and/or educational barriers. EOPS provides academic, financial, and career support to help you succeed.

EOPS Services

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is designed to improve access, retention and completion of educational goals by providing students with "over and above" services throughout their time at Skyline College.

  • Academic, Career, and Personal Counseling
  • Priority Registration
  • School supplies
  • Book Grant/Voucher Service (for required textbooks- amount varies)
  • Transfer Planning
  • Application fee waiver for the UC, CSU, and private colleges
  • Calculator and Smartpen Loans

CARE Services

The CARE program is a sub-program of EOPS for eligible EOPS students who are parents. The CARE program supports our parent students with additional over and above services to promote academic and personal success.
