EOPS / CARE
Skyline College has moved to hybrid instruction and student support through the Fall 2021 semesters as part of the SMCCCD's emergency response for the health and safety of the community. Virtual/remote formats of the programs, supports, and functions of EOPS/CARE will be available to you via email, ZOOM video appointments, CANVAS, and phone. We are here to support you during this time and will respond to all communications in as timely a manner as possible.
To reach the EOPS staff, please call EOPS during our regular office hours. You will hear a google voice automation which will ask you to state your name prior to being connected with our front office. You also have the opportunity to leave a voice message when you call if you are unable to reach a live person. You can also email us at email@example.com.
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is designed to improve access, retention and completion of educational goals by providing students with "over and above" services throughout their time at Skyline College. EOPS students have the potential to succeed in college but have not been able to realize their potential because of economic and/or educational barriers.
The CARE program is a sub-program of EOPS for eligible EOPS students who are parents. The CARE program supports our parent students with additional over and above services to promote academic and personal success.
