This conference is designed to inspire girls in grades 6–12 to explore and pursue careers in math, science, technology, and related fields. The event features approximately 25 interactive workshops led by volunteer professionals who share their expertise and introduce students to a variety of careers in science, mathematics, computer science, and technology.
The success of this conference depends on volunteers like you who generously share their time, knowledge, and talents. As a workshop presenter, you will lead a hands-on activity three times throughout the day, with approximately 20–25 students in each session.
Your participation can help spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire the next generation of women in STEM.
1) Want to present at EYH?
Please submit a completed Form 1 by November 2 only if you are available to present on the day of the event.
At this stage, the most important information we need is:
-
-
- The names of all workshop presenters
- A workshop title
- A brief description of your workshop
-
Workshops should be highly interactive, with a hands-on activity making up the majority of each session.
After you submit the form, the EYH Committee will review your information and follow up with you regarding your participation.
2) Need supplies for your workshop?
Please keep in mind that EYH operates with a limited budget. We ask that you use discretion when requesting supplies or equipment for your workshop through Form 2. Please submit all requests by November 30.
Whenever possible, we encourage presenters to seek support from their employers to help offset workshop supply costs. EYH is a nonprofit organization, and contributions or in-kind support are greatly appreciated.
Our goal is to keep workshop expenses as low as possible, and ideally, for each workshop to have no cost to EYH. Thank you for helping us make the most of our resources while providing an engaging, hands-on experience for students.
Thank you in advance for your interest, support, and cooperation. We truly appreciate your willingness to help make the conference a meaningful experience for our students.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
If you are unable to participate in this year’s conference but know someone who may be interested in presenting a workshop, we encourage you to share this information with them.
Thank you again. Each year you make a difference in the lives of many young women.
