Cal State Apply Transfer Guides
The following guide provides general instructions for creating an account in Cal State Apply and steps to completing the transfer application.
The following guide provides instruction regarding the Academic History quadrant. In this quadrant, transfer applicants enter detailed information about their educational background. All tiles within the quadrant must be completed. This guide provides detailed instructions for completing the first four tiles in the quadrant: High Schools Attended, Colleges Attended, Transcript Entry, and General Education.
The following guide provides instructions for international applicants on creating an account in Cal State Apply and completing the Personal Information and Academic History areas of the application as they relate to international applicants. For the purpose of the admission application, you are an international applicant if you require an F1 or J1 visa to study in the U.S. Applicants with other visa statuses can also use this guide.

EOP Letter of Recommendation and Documents Deadline Information
- The application automatically sets out the deadline from two weeks out from when you are filling out the section – this DOES NOT MEAN it is actually due on that date for the recommender.
- The DUE date is by campus under Documents Deadline as listed in the EOP Admission by Term page (note the earliest due date is Dec. 18th)
