Major: Nursing

About Me

Hi, I’m Pamela! I’m a first-generation student who moved here from El Salvador almost seven years ago. I’m currently pursuing Nursing with the goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. I’m a quiet person, but I still enjoy being spontaneous, going on adventures, finding new hobbies, and learning new things.

When I started at Skyline College, I wish I had known:

I wish I had known how to set limits and that it is normal not to be able to do it all, especially by yourself. Skyline has so many resources available to help students, but many students either don’t take advantage of them or simply don’t know they exist. If I had accepted the help I was offered, my life would have been a lot less stressful.
